David Hasson , a Spanish perfumer, opened a fragrance boutique in Paris in 1936 and filled it with his own Eau de Cologne, blended in Burgundy and made from raw materials grown in Grasse, the perfume capital of the world.
The long-established family perfumery "farm", where knowledge is passed down from generation to generation, flourishes to this day; the founder's sons Daniel Rene Hasson still mix the fragrances, and granddaughter Florence Touitou- Hasson caters to the needs of a vintage fragrance store in Paris.
